We enjoy the "feel" of a small patient-oriented office. Our clinic includes up-to-date equipment and a safe environment. Our company is looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant to work closely with our team of Optometric professionals. A successful candidate will have prior clinical experience in an Optometric or ophthalmological clinic and will be able to effectively communicate with patients, work with contact lenses, and perform and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist optometrists in vision examinations by obtaining medical histories. Preparing patients for exams by performing pre-testing and optometric testing. Assist patients with the care of, insertion, and removal of contact lenses. Clean, sterilize, and organize equipment for vision screenings and exams. Have above-average typing skills and working knowledge of EHR software.
