Job Description
Established private optometry office is hiring experienced, personable optometric technician/assistant to: greet and escort patients to perform autorefraction, optomap, lensometry prepare charts, input patient information and exam findings in EMR, check visual acuities, stereopsis, color vision instruct in contact lens insertion, removal, care perform initial refraction, Goldman tonometry, fundus photography, OCT, visual field testing, pachymetry scribe/assist doctor during exams handle rxs, refills, prior authorization, fax/scan reports educate patients regarding treatment plans make appointments and referrals order/maintain contact lens trials/supplies, exam supplies/areas cross-train and help team as needed
