We need someone enthusiastic, cares about others, & can work in a fast paced yet upbeat environment. Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work up of patients (auto refract, record chief complaint, eye/medical history, check visual acuity, refract, IOP measurement, dilation & perform all tests required by the OD or MD). Assist the ophthalmologist with procedures such as injections, fluorescein angiogram, lasers, lesion/chalazion removals, & eye lid procedures. Complete refill requests & prior authorizations, keep drawers/cabinets stocked, sanitize exam rooms, etc.
