Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Optometric Technician/Front Desk Team Member to join our team. You will be the first point of clinical contact for our patients, greeting the patients upon arrival and performing preliminary testing and assisting our Doctors of Optometry in providing high-quality eye care. Key Responsibilities Patient Pre-Testing:

Conduct preliminary evaluations including auto-refraction, tonometry (eye pressure), and lensometry.

Specialty Diagnostics:

Use advanced medical equipment such as Retinal Cameras (Optomap), OCT, and Visual Field machines.

Medical Scribing:

Accurately document patient history, medications, and exam findings in Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Contact Lens Training:

Assist patients with insertion and removal (I&R) training for new contact lens wearers.

Patient Flow:

Maintain a smooth office flow by preparing exam rooms and managing the doctor's schedule.

Patient charts:

Update/create charts, schedule patients, insurance verification.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Previous experience in a medical or optometry setting is preferred, but

Skills:

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
