Lusk Eye Specialists, one of Shreveport's most established medical practices, is seeking an outgoing professional to join our staff in providing excellence in patient care as an Ophthalmic Technician. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is imperative. Responsibilities include working with patients to ready them to be seen by a doctor, operating vision testing equipment, and educating patients about surgical and treatment options. You must be able to be on your feet the entire day, possess high-energy and have the ability to follow directions. Certification and prior experience preferred but not required, as we have an excellent training program for the right person. This is a Full-Time position working Monday-Friday. Hours range daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a total 40 hours per week. Position includes working in our satellite office in Minden 1 or 2 times per week.
