After your training period concludes, your average day at work includes direct patient care as well as administrative duties to keep the schedule running smoothly. In fact, you have the option to enjoy a three-day weekend. If this sounds perfect for you, please read on. Back Bay Eye Care is an independent Optometry practice and boutique optical shop. We are a growing practice, and we're looking to expand our team. If you have prior experience in eye care, we especially encourage you to apply. At the same time, we are happy to train the right candidate from the ground up.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preliminary testing on patients at Optometrist direction
• Provide a high level of customer service by welcoming patients to the practice, responding to texts and emails, completing the check-in process, and verifying insurance information
• All things contact lens: teaching patients how to wear and care for contacts, as well as ordering lenses for patients and the practice
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, equipment, and office

After training concludes, staff members have the option to work four 10-hour shifts per week.
