EXPERIENCE PREFERRED A

day in the life of an Optometric Technician can look like:

• Complete preliminary testing and necessary documentation
• Facilitating the flow of the office by quickly and efficiently preparing patients to be seen by the Optometrist
• Greet patients in person and on the phone Optometric Technician required skills & qualifications include: Energetic and personable Has outstanding written and verbal communication skills Able to multi-task and detail-oriented, strong computer skills Interested in giving patients of all ages the highest level of care Looking for long-term employee to grow with the practice Teach patients to insert and remove contact lenses (I&R) Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately document patient information in electronic medical records.
