Our mission is to deliver compassionate, highly personalized, and expert care with exceptional customer service. Job Overview We are seeking a warm and energetic Assistant Technician to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities will include patient intake, obtaining clinical histories, vision screening, and assisting administrative staff with check-in/check-out. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while honing your skills in the healthcare sector. No prior healthcare experience is necessary. We will provide training as needed. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service. Obtain patient histories, perform vision screening, assist with retinal photography Assist administrative staff with patient check-in and check-out Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and accurate medical documentation Utilize computer skills to support office administrative functions with occasional filing, typing, and managing phone communication with professionalism. Skills Excellent communication and hospitality skills. Ability to learn healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and clinical confidentiality policies. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing medical records and appointment schedules effectively. Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms and maintain professionalism.
