Clinical Technician Neuro-Vision Therapy Center LLC Rockville, MD Job Details Part-time $21 an hour 6 days ago Benefits On-the-job training Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Optical experience Medical equipment operation Intake Maintenance Attention to detail Organizational skills Productivity software Clinical confidentiality policies Full Job Description Clinical Technician- Optometry & Vision Therapy About Us Neuro-Vision Therapy Center is an optometry and vision therapy practice focused on rehabilitation from concussion, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other neurological conditions, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of developmental vision disorders such as binocular vision dysfunction. Position Summary The Clinical Technician supports the doctors and vision therapy team by assisting with patient care, performing diagnostic testing, documenting clinical information, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Experience is preferred but training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Administer and document results of vision testing and visual performance assessments using specialized diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform patient intake and pre-examination workups, including the collection and verification of pertinent health history and chief complaints.
  • Accurately document clinical findings, treatment plans, and provider-patient interactions by serving as a medical scribe during examinations and consultations.
  • Maintain exam rooms, testing areas, and clinical equipment
  • Provide optical support by assisting patients with the selection of eyeglass frames.
  • Be able to book, check-in or check out patients if needed.
Qualifications:
Required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, including the ability to quickly learn and use new software and clinical equipment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Preferred
  • Experience in optometry, ophthalmology, vision therapy, healthcare, rehabilitation, or a related field.
  • Experience using an electronic health record.

Part-Time Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
