Ophthalmic Tester Michigan Eyecare Institute Livonia, MI Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Intake Visual field testing Ophthalmic diagnostic imaging equipment Optical coherence tomography (OCT) Full Job Description Busy ophthalmology office looking for an ophthalmic tester/ intake specialist to join our team. Hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-3pm, no weekends. Must be willing to travel between 3 locations, Southfield, Dearborn and Livonia. Willing to train the right person for the job.
Responsibilities:
Perform ancillary testing including: visual field, OCT, fundus photography, and fluorescein angiography. Enter electronic orders for medication, imaging and lab orders. Learn preliminary work ups for the doctor. Provide patient education, including the ability to answer basic ophthalmic medication questions and diseases of the eye. Attend team meeting and stay current with skills and workflow.
