Job Description
Overview We are looking for enthusiastic, customer service-oriented individuals -- skilled people with a passion for creating exceptional patient experiences from start to finish. As an Optometric Technician at Walton & Becker Eyecare , you will serve as part of our patient heath care team and make a difference in how people see their future -- supporting our growing network of patients and doctors. Greet patients and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Conduct preliminary eye exams and gather patient history. Maintain accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Assist optometrists during examinations and procedures. Manage inventory of optical supplies and equipment. Ensure a clean and aseptic environment within the clinic. Skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task Ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively High level attention to detail Some insurance knowledge or history with EHR systems preferred. Strong understanding of optical products and services. Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
