Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Contact Lens Technician to join our Maple Grove team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. The Contact Lens Technician performs diagnostic fitting of all types of contact lenses including soft, gas permeable, and special designs, assists providers with complex contact lens cases, obtains and records patient histories, provides routine follow-up care, orders and maintains adequate diagnostic inventories, handles money, deposits, and receipts and inputs patient history and orders into the POS system. This role requires strong clinical and relationship-building customer service skills.
Work Schedule:
8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.,
Monday-Friday Required Qualifications:
Experience and training necessary to successfully obtain certification by the National Contact Lens Examiners. National Contact Lens Examiners certification. Proficiency in slit lamp, lensometer, corneal measurement, contact lens cleaning equipment, visual acuity equipment, telephone, and POS system.
