Responsibilities Perform basic patient workups, including medical history, vision assessment, and intraocular pressure checks Accurately scribe for physicians and maintain documentation in EMR systems Conduct diagnostic testing such as OCT, visual fields, lensometry, and angiography Assist with retina-specific procedures, including intravitreal injections, lasers, and minor in-office procedures Support physicians and clinical staff in ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent service Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong computer and EMR skills Previous experience in ophthalmology or a related healthcare field preferred, but not required COA or COT certification preferred; candidates with less experience will be considered if otherwise qualified Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care Benefits At Discover Vision Centers, we want our team members to thrive both personally and professionally.
