We are a private optometry practice located in Weldon Spring, Missouri. We are committed to offering the best customer experience by getting to know our patients, uncovering their needs and offering customized treatment plans. We utilize the latest technology and products and patients are sure to find the perfect pair of glasses in our unique optical. No experience necessary. Applicant must be friendly, outgoing, love working with the public, and possess basic computer skills. We will provide on-the-job training so you can develop the skills necessary to thrive in an optometry office environment.
Duties / skills include:
Understanding the basics of eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions Frame and lens selection Basic understanding of lens types, materials, and coating. Understand how to interpret a vision benefit authorization Adjusting, and dispensing glasses Pretesting patients Collect and enter patient data and health history into ExamWriter EHR Diagnostic testing techniques including: Auto refraction, lensometry, Optomap retina imaging, OCT testing, and visual field testing Contact lens insertion and removal training Scheduling appointments / checking patients in and out Verifying insurance $15 - $20 / hr (including bonus) based on experience. •Limited evenings and
