Ophthalmic Technician Jones Eye Center |
West Plains, MO Full-Time Position Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience and certification (COA/COT), plus an excellent benefits package. About the Position Jones Eye Center is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, diagnostic testing, documentation, and maintaining an efficient patient flow. Experience in ophthalmology is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Benefits

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Update electronic medical records and document clinical findings
  • Measure and record vision and intraocular pressure
  • Perform diagnostic testing and ophthalmic imaging
  • Assist physicians during examinations and treatments
  • Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and monitor medical supplies
  • Support patient flow throughout the clinic
  • Travel to satellite clinic locations as needed Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • COA/COT certification or ophthalmic experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong computer and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
