Optical and Patient Care Assistant Full Time | 40 Hours Per Week Starting at $15/ hour (based on experience) Premier Eye Care is a growing, patient focused optometry practice seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member to assist patients with frames and front desk support. Training provided. We are a structured, professional environment with clear systems, supportive training, and consistent feedback. Our goal is to develop long-term team members who want to grow with us. Experience is preferred. However, for the right individual with strong work ethic and professionalism, we are willing to train. What you'll do: Answer phone calls, greet patients and schedule appointments Obtain insurance authorizations and verification of benefits Communicating with doctors, other staff, and patients Educate patients on their insurance coverage and vision benefits Accurately post charges for exam fees, co-pays, and products sold Assist other members of the team as needed to reach individual and team goals Helping patients choose frames to fit their face and vision needs Simple adjustments and repairs Ability to do retail math and calculations with insurance Cross
