Monday-Friday 8:15-5:15 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Paraoptometric to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the optometric practice in delivering comprehensive eye health services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical fields, including podiatry, rheumatology, urology, reproductive endocrinology, labor delivery, medication administration, cardiology, diabetes care, home care, and pediatrics. Duties Assist optometrists in performing eye examinations and diagnostic tests. Prepare patients for examinations by taking medical histories and recording vital signs. Administer medications as prescribed by the optometrist. Educate patients on proper eye care and post-examination instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation complies with regulations. Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations. Provide support in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow within the practice. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion towards patients.
