Shook, OD, PA to become a part of our team! You will perform both clinical and administrative duties as part of a team to help keep our patients happy and our office running smoothly! We are a small practice with a patient-centered approach to care. We believe in cross-training our team so everyone can lend a helping hand as needed. We hope that you will feel welcomed in our office as a part of our team.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients, by phone and in person, warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere in the clinic Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner Verify insurance and maintain patient records Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures Set up and sanitize exam rooms Pre-test patients before their eye exam Provide consistent, exceptional patient care and customer service Assist in patient product ordering and dispensing as needed ​
Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare setting a plus, but not required High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Comfortable answering the phone Works well with a team Technologically skilled, typing capabilities Experience in billing and coding a plus Benefit s: Competitive wage, full time benefits, PTO and paid holidays Medical and dental insurance plans We look forward to hearing from you!
