Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to support the doctors in providing excellent ophthalmic care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preliminary patient workups (visual acuity, tonometry, pupil testing, EOMs) Obtain and document patient history and chief complaints. Perform diagnostic testing (OCT, VFs, photography, etc) Assist doctors during examinations with minor procedures. Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment. Educate patients on testing, procedures, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician preferred. Experience in optometry or ophthalmology strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Comfortable working with electronic medical records. Willingness to learn and grow within the practice.

Schedule:

Full-Time:

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm

Friday:

8:00am- 12:00 noon
