This role is ideal for a skilled, detail-oriented technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient workups (VA, refraction, IOP, pupil assessment, EOMs) Obtain accurate patient histories and document findings in the EHR Perform diagnostic testing such as: OCT Visual fields Fundus photography A-scan / IOL calculations (preferred) Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures Administer ophthalmic drops and medications as directed Prepare exam rooms, clean instruments, and maintain equipment Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician required COA, COT, or COMT certification preferred Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and testing Experience with EHR systems Excellent communication and patient service skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume clinic Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Salary based on
