May make lenses for other optical equipment, such as telescopes or microscopes. Works in medical equipment manufacturing facilities and laboratories, retail stores, or in the offices of optometrists and physicians.

Job Description
Nebraska Eye Institute is needing to add to our staff. The individual hired needs a positive , pleasant personality, who is a go-getter, and loves to learn ! Responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients, updating demographic information, answering the phone, and performing ancillary tests for the Doctor. Being a quick learner, and possessing accuracy and efficiency is a definite plus. Assisting in additional areas is needed at times and all duties can be learned in on-the-job training. This position is Monday through Thursday - a three day weekend every week!!! If you have a pleasant personality, willing to work with a team, and relate to patients well, we would love to talk to you. Starting wage is negotiable depending on experience and attitude!
