This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surgical technician looking for consistent per diem hours in a fast-paced, specialized outpatient surgical environment . Schedule Approximately 8-10 days per month Potential for up to 12 days per month for candidates willing to travel between our surgical center locations Primarily weekday/daytime hours No nights, weekends, holidays, or call Schedule is generally planned in advance Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and sterile field for ophthalmic surgical procedures Scrub and assist surgeons during procedures Ensure instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment are available and properly prepared Maintain sterile technique and infection-control standards Assist with room turnover and preparation between cases Follow facility policies, regulatory requirements, and established surgical safety protocols Work collaboratively with surgeons, nursing staff, anesthesia providers, and other members of the surgical team Qualifications Previous surgical scrub technician experience required Ophthalmology/eye surgery experience strongly preferred Cataract surgery experience is highly desirable Current surgical technologist certification preferred Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection prevention Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume ASC environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Flexibility to work scheduled surgical days Why Join Our Team?
