As part of our family-owned practice, you'll work alongside a small, supportive team that is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate eye care to patients of all ages. Reporting directly to the Optometrist, you'll assist with patient care, prepare patients for comprehensive eye examinations, perform clinical testing using modern optometric equipment, and help ensure each visit is welcoming, efficient, and comfortable. Beyond the clinical responsibilities, we value building genuine relationships with our patients and treating them like family. Responsibilities Screen patients and conduct preliminary vision testing Prepare and maintain optometric equipment for exams Enter and manage patient data and records accurately Coordinate patient appointments and schedules Occasionally assist with the delivery, fitting, and adjustment of eyeglasses and contact lenses Preferred Qualifications Entry-level experience in optometric assisting High school diploma or equivalent Skills in patient care and vision testing Strong communication and attention to detail Ability to work effectively within a small team
