Optometry Receptionist/Assistant (FULL-TIME) Mayer Eye Care Henderson, NV Job Details Full-time $17 - $18 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Optical experience Full Job Description Looking for a full-time, friendly, trustworthy, motivated, and dependable receptionist/ assistant to join an established and growing private optometry office. Main duties will include but not be limited to: Answering phones and scheduling appointments. Pulling insurance authorizations, accurately explaining insurance benefits to patients, and billing when needed. Properly checking patients in and out and collecting payments. Must be knowledgeable with vision insurances EyeMed, VSP, Davis, and Medicaid. Efficiently input patient information into our EMR system (CrystalPM). Become proficient with our recall and communication system (SolutionReach). Monitor daily email and faxes. Must be able to assist patients with frame and lens selection, measurements, and adjustments. May be called upon to help work up patients for the doctor from time to time Main hours. Monday-Friday (8am-5pm). Approximately 35-40 hours/ week are available.
NO WEEKENDS!
We are closed Saturdays and Sundays. Pay will be determined on experience and knowledge of the position.
