Ambulatory Surgery Center No nights, weekends, holidays, or on‑call Job Summary We are a busy ambulatory surgery center specializing in ophthalmology and are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician (OR Tech / CST) to join our operating room team. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality patient care. The primary responsibility of this role is performing the scrub technician function during surgical procedures. When not assigned to an operating room, the Surgical Technician will assist with additional tasks to support efficient daily operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the scrub technician during ophthalmic surgical procedures Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards at all times Anticipate the needs of surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team Assist with room turnover and case setup Support daily workflow and organization of the operating rooms Assist with additional duties as needed when not assigned to an OR Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program High School Diploma or GED required BLS certification required Strong communication skills and a team‑focused mindset Ophthalmology experience preferred Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA preferred Compensation Competitive pay based on experience Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply through Indeed.
