Job Description
Seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe We are looking for our next team member in a comprehensive ophthalmic practice to provide pretesting, scribe for physicians and complete documentation for services. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an ophthalmic practice, be able to independently complete workup elements such as imaging (VF, OCT, Fundus photos, IOL Master), perform refractions, ROS and reconcile medications, prepare the patient for the physician visit as well as scribe for providers. This is a key position in the physician clinics, requiring attention to detail, ability to multitask, communication skills and focus on making the customer experience wonderful. Experience documenting in an EHR is a must. Primary location would be at the Grove City office with occasional travel possible to Canal Winchester and/or Washington Courthouse.
