Job Description

Eye Services is offering an Ophthalmic Technician position for an individual with excellent patient care. Located in Wilmington, we are a one-physician clinic providing personalized care to patients from neighboring 5 counties for over 20 years. We are looking for a team member who is punctual, detail oriented, efficient and possess a cooperative work ethic. COAs will be given the opportunity to be trained as surgical tech in our surgery center. We offer full benefits with paid time off, health/dental insurance and 401k retirement plan with profit sharing. Flexible schedule with no weeknights or weekends. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Promptly and professionally assists the physicians with patient care
  • Performs technical workups by taking patient medical history and conducting appropriate ancillary testing
  • Scribe for the physicians, using electronic medical records
  • Assists the physicians with minor procedures
  • Proficiency with the following: HVF, Cirrus OCT, Fundus Photography, Fluorescein Angiography, IOL Master, OPD
  • Clinical skills should include: refractometry, lensometry, tonometry, manual keratometry, pupil testing, muscle balance
