We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding patient care. Whether you have previous optometric experience or healthcare experience and a willingness to learn, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Welcome patients and create a positive experience from check-in thru checkout. Obtain patient histories and update electronic health records Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, auto-refraction, retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields and other diagnostic procedures. Prepare patients for examinations and assist the doctor with patient flow. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, contact lenses and eyewear options. Train new contact lens wearers on insertion, removal and care of contact lenses. Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical areas. Support front desk and scheduling functions as needed. What we're looking for Previous experience as an Optometric Technician or in a similar role within a health clinic is preferred. Proficient in using Eyefinity Practice Management or similar healthcare management systems preferred. Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and stay efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Dependable, Punctual and team-oriented.
