Position Overview:

We are currently looking for Ophthalmic Technicians to join our dynamic team at Keystone Retina. The ideal candidate will be passionate about eye care, have a strong attention to detail, and possess excellent patient care skills. As an ophthalmic technician, you will assist in providing high-quality diagnostic testing, patient education, and support to our physician in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic tests to assess retinal health, including OCT, fluorescein angiography, and fundus photography. Assist patients in preparation for their exam by taking medical histories, measuring visual acuity, and recording vital signs. Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment. Educate patients on procedures, answer questions, and ensure a comfortable experience. Provide support to the retina specialist during in-office procedures Ensure accurate documentation of patient data in the medical record system. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in front desk duties when needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in ophthalmic technology or related field preferred. Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or higher preferred but not required. Experience in ophthalmology or retina practice is a plus. Strong knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
