About us Eye Associates is an Ophthalmology office in Chalfont, PA. We are professional, fast-paced and our goal is to give our patients the best possible care available. Our organization is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the ophthalmologist, including taking patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting with minor surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of ophthalmology and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable and a team player.

Responsibilities:

Perform ophthalmic diagnostic tests such as visual acuities Assist ophthalmologists in small procedures Perform ophthalmic imaging tests such OCT, and Visual fields Maintain patient records and prepare reports for the physician. Educate patients on proper eye care and safety.
