Job Summary :

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing patient care throughout the entire eye examination process, ensuring minimal wait times for patients. It is essential for the ideal candidate to recognize the importance of efficient time management in completing all required tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, pretesting, compiling case history, assessing visual acuity, utilizing autorefractors and lensometers, performing tonometry, visual field testing, fundus photography, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), providing contact lens training, offering general eye care, and conducting eye examinations. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following qualities: Strong work ethic Exceptional multitasking abilities Excellent interpersonal skills and communication Professional demeanor Proficiency in computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Self-motivated and resourceful Ability to multitask with precision Keen attention to detail and commitment to follow-up Expertise in Eye Care Proficiency in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) as well as fundus photography Experience in conducting Eye Exams Knowledge of Ocular Disease Bilingual (English/Spanish) is greatly preferred
