Ophthalmology Assistant (Entry-Level) - Columbia, TN We are a friendly, low-volume solo ophthalmology practice in Columbia, TN looking for a reliable, patient-focused individual to join our team as an entry-level Ophthalmology Technician. What you'll do: Greet patients and obtain medical histories Perform basic eye measurements and tests (visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, etc.) Assist the physician during exams and minor procedures Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment Enter data into the electronic health record Help with patient flow and general clinic support Ideal candidate: Friendly, professional, and dependable Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Comfortable interacting with patients of all ages No prior ophthalmology experience required — we will train the right person High school diploma or equivalent required Previous medical office, customer service, or healthcare experience is a plus Why join us?
