Responsibilities Perform hearing assessments and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' auditory and vestibular functions using advanced medical equipment and software. Conduct patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring patient comfort throughout assessments. Operate medical equipment safely and accurately, adhering to clinical protocols. Support audiologists with patient management by maintaining detailed records within EMR/EHR systems. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly for optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on patient assessment plans, pediatrics cases, and client communication strategies to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Experience Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting involving medical equipment operation or patient care is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to the ear and physiology, as well as familiarity with pediatric audiology practices is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations. Experience with patient management software is highly desirable. Basic understanding of ICD coding procedures for documentation purposes is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
