You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. You will also be providing Spravato and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments (On the job training will be provided & there will be an opportunity to become certified.)The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. The right candidate will be detail oriented, flexible, compassionate, self-motivated, and have integrity. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Execute Treatment Prior-Authorizations with insurance Log all treatments, charts, and patient monitoring forms accurately Check for medication expirations Keep a detailed record of treatment productivity Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Work closely with the MD, PA's, and NP's to ensure open communication Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Administer Esketamine treatment (Spravato) Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Become TMS Certified under the supervision of the MD Skills Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or Treatment Technician Knowledge of medical insurance systems, procedures, and EMR's Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, & prioritize work Effective communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Extremely Detail Oriented Proficiency in Excel and patient management software
