Optometry Technician PRN Clear Vision Express is looking for a dependable Optometry Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. This position is ideal for someone with optometry, ophthalmology, optical, or medical office experience who is looking for flexible, as needed hours. The technician will assist with patient testing and help keep patient flow running smoothly throughout the office. Responsibilities Perform patient pretesting and diagnostic testing as directed Operate optometric testing equipment and properly document results Prepare patients for their eye examination Enter and maintain accurate patient information Assist the doctor and optical team with patient flow Clean and maintain testing equipment and work areas Follow office procedures and patient privacy requirements Provide professional and friendly patient service Assist with other clinical or office duties as needed Qualifications Previous optometry, ophthalmology, optical, or medical office experience preferred Experience operating optometric testing equipment is a plus Comfortable working directly with patients Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to work independently Good communication and organizational skills Comfortable learning new equipment and office systems Schedule PRN, as needed Hours will vary based on office coverage and patient needs Availability during weekdays and Saturdays is preferred

Pay:

$15.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 40.0 per week
