We are looking for a full time ophthalmic technician to join our team and assist in clinic. We are a well established, fast paced, high volume ophthalmology practice and offer a rewarding, enjoyable, and stimulating work environment.

Duties:

Patient Work Up, which includes documentation of pertinent history, obtaining visual acuity, refraction, BAT testing, and tonometry Scribe for physician when able. Diagnostic imaging - Visual Field, IOL, Optos, OCT, A-scan, B- scan Assist with in-office surgical procedures Clinic clean up and shut down, which includes wiping down exam rooms, covering equipment, shutting down diagnostic testing

Strong computer and EHR background Professional attitude and appearance Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude Strong understanding of HIPAA High school degree or equivalent Spanish fluency is encouraged
