Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary eye examinations, including taking medical histories and visual acuity assessments.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as tonometry, keratometry, and pachymetry.
- Assist with ophthalmic procedures, surgeries, and laser treatments.
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed by physicians.
- Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on proper eye care procedures and post-operative instructions.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
