Full Job Description Job Description :

• Perform pre-testing procedures such as measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and depth perception.
• Assist with patient history taking and documenting medical records.
• Prepare patients for examination by the optometrist.
• Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the optometrist.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and imaging procedures, such as retinal imaging and visual field testing.
• Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
• Assist with contact lens fittings and ordering.

Requirements :

• Knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and common eye conditions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic experience preferred).
• Strong retail sales skills
• Proficient in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology terminology and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
