com Basic qualifications:

Strong customer service skills Self-motivated with a drive for continual learning and improvement Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Desire to work well with others and as a team Problem Solver - Skilled in handling difficult patient issues and resolving them Experience in the eyecare/medical field is a plus, but not required. Paid on the job training available for the right candidate. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Check in/out patients, pull insurance benefits, and collect payments Perform pretesting on patients and prepare exam rooms for the doctor Assists patients with selection of eyewear, determines proper frame and lens selections while also considering prescription implications Takes necessary optical measurements (e.g. pupillary distance (PD), seg heights, custom fit to wear lens measurements) with a high degree of accuracy. Explains the procedures and reasons for them to patients Dispensing glasses and frame adjustments Assists in dispensing and training of contact lenses
