Greets patients at the front desk Answers and screens incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner Schedules appointments for MRI's and other diagnostic scans as modalities are added Assisting patients from the lobby to the patient lounge Communicates issues, concerns, needs or problems to the clinical staff and/or Manager in charge helping to maximize efficiency and patient flow during clinic Files MRI and all other diagnostic reports into patient charts Work as a Team Member with the MRI Technologist to insure a smooth flow of patients through the department on a daily basis Assists in Pre-Certing MRIs Other duties as requested by the Clinic Manager and deemed appropriate for the position

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalency At least 2 years of diagnostic imaging scheduling
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Practice Management and Word Processing Software Understanding of ICD-10 coding Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of Orthopedic surgical procedures General computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Data Entry Good communication skills Strong Customer Service Skills Computer Software/Hardware Troubleshooting AdvancedMD knowledge preferred
