We have a great team in place and looking for an exceptional person to join our team! Arkansas Vision Development Center has an opening for a Receptionist /Optician. This is a float position. The person must work in a professional manner, is flexible, maintains confidence and contributes to a positive work environment. Must be detailed oriented, organized, flexible and enjoy a fast past environment.
Our work environment includes:
Modern, state of the art office setting Growth opportunities Positive work environment Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Greet patients in a timely, friendly manner Answer incoming phone calls Scheduling any and all appointments needed Check patients in and out Updating patient information including insurance information. Collection of payments in-person and over the phone. The ability to use office equipment such as: multi-line phone, fax/copy machine, scanner and credit card machine. Communicating by phone, text and e-mail about patient appointments, orders, insurance, and billing Accurately interpret the results of eye examinations, using prescriptions written by Optometrists Measuring customers to determine suitable types and styles of frames, and assist patients with selecting frames according to style and color. Selecting and explaining the proper lens offerings and lens treatments based on the patient's needs and prescription. Educating customers on how to wear and maintain glasses. Ordering patient's eyewear with accuracy. Checking in eyewear and dispense 1 year in health care reception and or optical experience.
