Optician

Job Summary We are seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for patients in our optical area. Duties Confidently direct patients regarding appropriate frame styles, shapes, sizes, and materials. Take accurate measurements necessary for eyewear fabrication Perform customized fitting and adjustments to ensure glasses fit exceptionally well. Use an electronic health record system and vendor websites for order entry and billing to third parties. Conduct basic laboratory tasks such as lens mounting and frame repairs. Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage. Manage inventory levels of eyewear products and supplies Manage the overall aesthetics of the optical area Assist other areas in the office as needed. Requirements An outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic personality Minimum 3 years experience as an optician. Candidates with 5 years high end sales experience in a face to face environment may be considered. Strong sales skills with an ability to engage a wide range of patient ages. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. We are a multi location private practice in Orange County for 20+ years. This position will be at our location in Dana Point.
