Modern office setting On-the-job training If you are an experienced optician looking for a great opportunity to help establish the optical end of a young optometric practice, this position could be for you! We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and motivated individual to join our fun and professional team. The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service skills and be well versed in premium lens and frame products. In addition to educating and assisting patients with their optical needs, this individual assist with frame inventory and other related duties. The candidate must be also computer-proficient and familiar with insurance plans as our office is paperless and utilizes electronic medical records. Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications: Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills Expertise in retail eyeglass sales Ability to troubleshoot and adjust patient eyewear Ability to monitor quality control of products and services; must be detail-oriented Experience with Vision Service Plan (VSP) billing and reimbursement Ability to work well as a team member, as well as perform individually Desire to drive team and personal success Intermediate software skills and ability to learn new technology Full-time position available.
