Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients look and see their best, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences Interpret and fill eyeglass prescriptions accurately Take precise measurements (PD, segment height, etc.) Adjust, repair, and fit eyewear to ensure comfort and proper vision Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and products (Progressives, Bi-Focals, SV) Manage inventory and maintain an organized optical display Process orders and coordinate with labs ( VSP & Eyemed ) Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Optician (preferred) ABO certification (preferred but not required) Strong sales and customer service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude
