Optician

This well established VSP Premier Edge, highly service oriented, medical office, Warm Springs Optometric Group in Fremont, has an open position for a Full-time or Part-time Optician. We offer high-quality comprehensive eye care with the latest technology. We have full time Optometrists with a full-service optical shop offering designer frames, glasses and all types of contact lenses. We're looking for an energetic, lively, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, self-confident individual, with exceptional people skills to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong customer service background and desire to make our patients so happy and welcomed, that they can't help but tell their friends how well they were treated. Our preferred candidate must be detail oriented and organized, must absolutely love working with people and have a great sense of style. We want a candidate with a desire to make patients feel so comfortable that they keep wanting to come back to us! You would be helping patients select eyeglass lenses and frames that work for their prescription, occupational needs, facial shape, fashion sense, and budget. You would be responsible for the smooth operation of the day-to-day business of the optical. Additional job responsibilities, such as billing insurance, checking in jobs, following up with patients, etc. would be explained during the interview.
