We provide advanced medical eye exams, myopia management, dry eye treatment (including Optilight IPL), and specialty contact lens fittings. Our mission is to combine cutting-edge technology with compassionate care, offering our patients a premium, personalized experience. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused Optician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients look and see their best. You will play a key role in assisting patients with frame selection, lens recommendations, optical adjustments, and ensuring the highest level of service in our optical boutique. Responsibilities Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their prescription, lifestyle, and style preferences Accurately take measurements (PD, segment heights, frame adjustments, etc.) Place, verify, and dispense optical orders with precision and efficiency Provide education on lens technology, coatings, and care Perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction Maintain inventory of frames and lenses, and help with merchandising/display Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to deliver a seamless patient experience Assist with insurance verification and billing as needed (VSP experience preferred) Qualifications 2 years optical/optician experience required (licensed optician a plus, but not required) Strong understanding of lens options, optical measurements, and frame styling Excellent communication and customer service skills Tech-savvy and comfortable using EHR/practice management systems (Eyefinity Encompass experience is a plus) Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive pay starting at $24 per hour (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Employee discounts on eyewear and services Paid time off and flexible scheduling Supportive, team-oriented work environment in a modern, boutique-style practice Opportunities for growth and continuing education
