Compensation is negotiable and based on experience, availability and the right fit! The position is for a Dispensing Optician, this does not require billing insurance companies. Understanding insurance is required, but billing insurance is not. The role & responsibilities
  • Open and Closing office procedures
  • Checking in and Checking Out Patients
  • Pre-testing patients
  • Assisting patients in the optical, for frame and lens selections, and contact lens orders
  • Demonstrates understanding of Vision Insurance & Medical Insurance & co-pays
  • Dispensing and Adjusting Eyewear for patients
  • Cleaning the office, includes cleaning before and after patient visits
  • Emails, Texts, Phones, Scheduling, Scanning and Printing, General Computer Tasks
  • Collect Payments and Send Invoices to Patients
  • Place contact lens orders
  • Attendance is critical to employment
