Billing / accounting specialist and optical technician. Diamond Vision Optometry is a growing, boutique optometry practice in Pasadena. Providing general optometry, low vision and specialty contact lens services, we treat a wide variety of patients including children and elderly. Position Description:

Verify vision and medical insurance Be familiar with all procedures and services offered in office Order and billing of examinations and optical materials Bookkeeping Filing and organization Computer fluency Protect patient privacy and uphold a higher standard of care Honesty and integrity

Skills Needed:

At least 1 year optical experience Clear communication skills Excellent and gracious patient service Ability to learn the electronic medical records and ordering systems Teamwork and consideration towards coworkers Knowledge of multiple languages is helpful though not required

Hours:

Monday through Saturday 9:30am to 6:00pm Saturdays are required.

Compensation:

Based on experience Range $25-32/hr Paid time off/ holidays
