Job Description

Award-winning Optometry Office in Pasadena has immediate opening for FT and PT Sales Optician. We seek highly motivated individuals with strong commitment to excellence and a desire to advance based on performance. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Eyewear Sales in a very busy optometry office, providing each patient with the best eyewear solution based on their budget and insurance benefits. Eyewear adjustments. Maintain appropriate standards of quality, honesty, and patient service. Work with others to ensure comprehensive completion of all tasks.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Sales Optician selling luxury brands and premium lenses.
Compensation:
$18.60 per hour base, plus monthly productivity bonuses.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge of single-vision and premium PAL's including Shamir and Varilux. Knowledge of lens treatments. Knowledge of larger insurance plan benefits including EyeMed, VSP, Spectera, Davis. Experience selling a wide spectrum of eyewear from entry-level to luxury brands. Ability to adjust single-vision and progressive eyeglasses. Ability to do minor repairs, such as screw replacement. Excellent customer service and communication skills Team player Manage multiple tasks simultaneously Highly motivated and organized Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns Multi-Task and excel under pressure Computer literate Detail Oriented This position requires being on your feet most of the day, in order to assist patients. We are looking for part-time and full-time candidates who are dependable and punctual.
