Lead Optician Lead Optician Opticians are primarily focused on helping patients find the perfect pair of eyeglasses and delivering quality care for their vision by fitting patients with the latest lens technology. You'll responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by being an expert the brands, eyewear, and latest lens technology. What you'll do: Work directly with patients to find the right eyewear Take accurate measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure quality standards in dispensing eyeglasses Check that our finished eyewear meets our optical standards, as well as patients' requirements and requests Use your expertise to explain prescription and lens technology to patients Use your expertise to explain patients insurance benefits Work with your team and doctor to make sure all patients receive exceptional service Help patients choose the best frames and lenses based on their prescription needs, face fit, personal style, and lifestyle Create and submit optical orders to labs Verifying and submitting vision insurance and medical insurance claims Who you are: A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license 2+ years of experience in optometry private practice Passionate about the well-designed and independent eyewear and exceptional patient experience A clear, effective, and professional communicator—you can break down technical and insurance terms for patients to easily understand Open-minded—you're constantly learning and challenging what you know Excited to work in a fast-paced, upbeat work environment Multitasker, organized and extreme detail-oriented In exchange for your hard work, you will receive: Competitive pay Looksie perks: Team Outings & Events, Vision Benefits, and Employee Discounts.
